The Chang Sisters

Congratulations to our baby brother and his soon-to-be bride, Mahkiya. As we welcome Mahkiya into our family, we decided to do an updatedsisters portrait session. You may think 5 girls are plentiful, but the truth is you can never have too many sisters! Though we may have our differences from time to time, we are forever here for each other through thick and thin. We are even more excited now than ever to add a 6th addition to our sisterhood. We love you Mahkiya!

Le Bora Bora

Ia Ora na Madame et Monsieur Lane! It's been a long while since Hubby and I were able to take a real vacation, so we were super thrilled for this one. This trip was dedicated to our late honeymoon. Since we got married in 2020 during the pandemic, we weren't able to go anywhere so a much-long needed honeymoon was due. Everything was absolutely perfect, more than what I could ever imagine! Our cute little hut had the most amazing endless view of the clearest water I've ever swam in. During the night time, we witnessed a once in a life time starry night sky of the milky way...nothing like we've never seen before...it was like, magic. Don't get too comfortable with the clear waters though. Apparently getting stung by jellyfishes are normal as I had to recuperate before our exploration to swim with sharks. Manta Rays were amazing but I will admit, I was terrified to swim with Blacktip reef sharks. 30 of them surrounded Hubby and I in the open water as we slowly swam back to the boat - it shook us a tad, but were so glad we did it! Just a tip, respect them and they will respect you...no touching. Tau was our water tour guide and looked after everyone carefully, we had a blast! The coral garden was a wonderful experience as well, but our journey didn't end there. We also journeyed around the Bora Bora island on a 4x4 safari with our awesome tour guide, Moana. Talk about getting height, we saw a full 360 degree view of the magnificent island! Absolutely breathtaking! Aside from these planned activities, we ventured into town to get a feel of the local life and culture, and visited the famous artist's studio, Jean-Pierre Frey. We brought home a print for memory as well as continuing our shopping for an "Christmas ornament from our travels" tradition. Don't forget, Bora Bora is famous for their black pearls. Hubby gifted a black pearl necklace to me, and it is gorgeous! Lastly, special thanks to my French teacher, Madame Hart - my French paid off and saved us in certain situations of need. Worth doing your homework before heading to a country where English is not the first language. It can be scary getting lost but God was looking out for us both and sent us angels. Merci beaucoup to the special couple who saved us from getting lost in downtown Tahiti, Moe et Brian. We are so thankful to be home now but will always remember and cherish every moment from this experience, we are truly blessed.

Depoe Bay, Oregon

A weekend getaway on the Oregon Coast! My sweet Mother-in-love treated my Hubby and I out on a breathtaking trip to Depoe Bay. I've only visited the coast once, a brief vacation to Cannon Beach was closest I've ever been to the ocean. This experience was a whole other world! It struck me to see how endless the ocean is, yet so calming and beautiful all at the same time. Though was cold and wet, running into the wind with harsh glass-like rain drops hitting your face, we truly made every moment worth it! Would love to go back to visit again in the summer!

Anniversary & Mini-moon

On the weekend of 1.22.2021, we decided to combine our 6th anniversary and mini-moon into one big celebration. My husband and I had to cancel our original mini-moon back in December 2020 due to Covid-19...but we found a fun alternative right in our backyard! A cabin retreat in the neck of Mt. Rainier was booked and it was just the most perfect romantic getaway! Who said you can't have a "special and safe" anniversary? This was the cutest, most cleanest and creative cabin we've ever stayed at. Much appreciation for our experience and will definitely be planning for many more adventures. Starting off our 2021 journey with a pop of snow!

Yanglee's Garden

My parents are the most hardworking individuals I've ever known, and while growing up, this was our life. This was how I spent every summer at our farm prepping for all of our Farmers Market. My parents grow all these wildflowers themselves and to this day, I'm still amazed by their work ethic. I cannot thank them enough for teaching me the value of hard work that has shaped my professional career today.
Here are a few sneak peaks of our Dahlia season, enjoy! (Feel free to contact for floral inquiries)

Al's 60th Birthday Celebration - 7.16.19

Of all the memories with Al, the most memorable and meaningful was the day he gave me my first camera, the Canon 5D II DSLR. I grew up in a very sheltered home and never thought that I’d pursue anything more than what my parents expected of me. Even so, I’ve always been an artsy and creative kid. Al simply asked me that if I was truly serious about pursuing a Photography career, he would have his church raise the money for me. The day I received my camera, I knew there was no turning back. This day not only marked a new chapter in my life but also a new journey to inspire others through Photography. I am proud of who I am today and my creative career all because of Al’s generous heart and the Antioch Bible Church. Not a day goes by that I don’t pick up my camera and think of how grateful I am. This man is the reason I get to photograph today. Happy 60th birthday Al!

Mt. Rainier National Park Exploration

Been a Washingtonian all my life, but this was actually my first time to Mt. Rainer! I had hope to see Paradise Meadows but so many trails were closed off due to the long lasting snow. Nonetheless, our adventure continued through Narada Falls...

VanDusen Botanical Garden Light Festival - Vancouver BC

Season greetings from Vancouver! Phil and I have been planning a little romantic getaway trip for a while now, right before my birthday on Christmas day. Little did I know, there was a lot more in store for me. We explored downtown Vancouver, food & dining was absolutely AMAZING, and visited the cutest little Christmas market! We enjoyed our last evening activity in the VanDusen Botanical Garden Light Festival. Even though it was super rainy and muddy, the lights were so vibrant and beautiful I just couldn't complain. We started to walk into an isolated gazebo, luckily for me I had captured a photo of it not knowing what was to happen next...Phil gave me a short loving speech, then ended it with "with that being said," and got down on one knee. O-M-G! I was soooo shocked and surprised! The second I saw my dream ring I instantly broke down in tears, realizing that this was actually real. I've never cried so hard in my life! I was so overwhelmed with joy that I forgot to say yes. It really was funny because he had to me ask again "so is that a yes?" I finally responded, "a million times YES!!!" I am the happiest girl in the world, engaged to my best friend! 12.9.2018, an unforgettable date to remember and I will cherish it forever.

Water Lantern Festival - Seattle, WA

A modern day date! What could be more romantic than this? I'm sure there's many more but this day was special. We wanted a simple date night involving this beautiful autumn weather, so that's just want we did! Started out with some fun activities and food trucks, decorated our lanterns and meditated before our farewell launch. I even got down in the sinking mud to get these shots, totally worth it! We dedicated our lanterns to how very blessed we are, for ever have found each other. Je t'aime mon chéri.

Utah Adventures - Bryce Canyon

I wanted to make the best out of this trip while visiting my sister and soon-to-be-born niece. I'm so excited for her arrival! From family time to chasing sunrises at Bryce Canyon and detouring to the Red Canyon, I just cannot put this into words...it was absolutely magnificent! It is a must trip, and worth every moment! Most importantly, making memories with loved ones. I would not trade this for anything in the world. The best things in life are free.

Lake Hike 22

Who knew there would still be snow in the middle of May?

Missouri

My older sister, mon amour and I flew out to celebrate my brother's graduation ceremony from basic training. Family Strong, Army Strong! We also ventured out to tour the city of St. Louis and had the best BBQ! I highly recommend "Pappy's Smokehouse!"

Leavenworth

0 degrees and so worth it! That is, if you don't mind your wet hair freezing up while in the hot-tub! Snow has its perks and we enjoyed every moment! Good time, good food and good company.

San Francisco

My very first time biking across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito truly made me appreciate the beauty of this city. Growing up, I watched so many romantic comedies filmed here, and was super excited to re-live some of those unforgettable moments. My journey obviously wasn't identical but I assure you, just as fun! Live life to it's fullest, the sky is the limit!
